Giveaway AddictBlogging has a way of connecting people that under normal circumstances would never cross paths.  It’s an exciting new way of communicating, making new friends, sharing experiences and learning valuable lessons.

With the vast number of blogs crawling the internet, and even greater number of new bloggers joining their ranks,  it can easily become a daunting task trying to visit them all.  Which is why I decided to start featuring a new blogger each week that we all can get to know.

This weeks featured blogger is  Bobbi Sharp aka Giveaway Addict.  I came across her blog while visiting sites through (my absolute favorite free advertising program).  And who doesn’t love giveaways.  Get to know more about her below, and don’t forget to visit her blog.

How long have you been blogging? I started blogging after the birth of my daughter in January 2009, but started Giveaway Addict in August of 2009 after becoming addicted to giveaways. Shortly after I began hosting my own giveaways.

What inspired you to start blogging? To start off blogging I wanted to keep my family around the world informed of everything going on with our journey into parenthood. I also use my personal blog as a baby book, publishing it every so often. One day I will pass the collection onto my children. From there I ventured into entering as many giveaways as possible, because, well who doesn’t love free stuff? After a while of posting about giveaways on my personal blog I became a little guarded with some of the people who were reading about my baby girl. I decided that in order to protect my family, in this crazy day and age, I would start a separate blog to share my great giveaway findings with friends and anyone who was interested. After a while it bloomed into me doing the giveaways and reviews.

What is your blog about? I love to review and giveaway products for Mom’s, Babies and children. But being so new to the giveaway world, you take what you can get. So I’ve had a mish-mash of products from household goods, to amazing kid products, to intimate items for Mommy and Daddy. I’m really trying to get more Mom, Baby and Pregnancy oriented stuff on my site…

How has blogging changed your life? It went from being informative for my family and logging memories for my children to being a near full time job. I didn’t expect it would take so much time from emails with sponsors to answering reader questions to typing and posting information. It’s a lot of hard, rewarding work.

What have you learned about blogging that you would like to share with others? 1) If you do giveaways, be prepared to work extra hard. 2) Every day is different, and in some small way you’ll be proud to know that you’ve made someone smile. Free stuff makes me smile anyway. 3) Love every minute of it. Yes it is hard, but it is amazing to see some of the feed back from winners and people who are appreciative of your opinions.

Name 3 blogs you love to read? Gobs of Giveaways, Mommy Loves Giveaways, and Mission Mommy

LifeBlogging has a way of connecting people that under normal circumstances would never cross paths.

This weeks featured blogger is Jammie over at The Neat Things In Life.  I came across her blog through The Deal Fanatic, and I enjoy reading her posts.  Get to know more about her below and don’t forget to visit her blog.

How long have you been blogging? I have been blogging for almost 7 months. My first blog entry is for March 23, 2009.

What inspired you to start blogging? To be honest I started blogging to brag about things I won. But shortly after I decided I wanted it to be more. I wanted it to be something my daughter had to look back on when she got older.

What is your blog about? My blog is just my small space on this big internet. I blog mostly about my family, about homeschooling my daughter and pretty much whatever I can think to put out there.

How has blogging changed your life? It really has not changed my life. It has given me a place to get things off my chest. It has also allowed me to interact with other moms. With being a stay at home mom I do not get much adult conversation. This helps tons.

What have you learned about blogging that you would like to share with others? Just be yourself. Blogging is just like real life. Do not change who you are to please others, be honest with the things you do and do not worry about what others think. Everyone has opinions, but no one has a right to judge you. So be yourself and have fun.

Name 3 blogs you love to read? I love reading

Mommy’s Hangout – Jen is the one who got me into blogging. She is my best online friend.
Lee-Ann’s Crazy Life – Lee Ann is a sweet heart she finds the time in her busy schedule to stop by and read my blog. I love reading about her beautiful babies.
Delightful Chaos – She has a great blog that is very informational when it comes to coupons and such.

It is my hope that each of you will visit Jammie and give her a great big shout out courtesy of Mahogany Made.  As well, check out her favorites , you never know who’s lurking on the other side (a friend, future business partner, or even your next door neighbor).

The Deal FanaticBlogging has a way of connecting people that under normal circumstances would never cross paths.  It’s an exciting new way of communicating, making new friends, sharing experiences and learning valuable lessons.

This weeks featured blogger is Daisy over at The Deal Fanatic.  A self-proclaimed tech junkie and veteran blogger, Daisy and I have become tweet buddies over the past month or so.  You can visit her blog here, and get to know a little more about her below.

Featured Blog of the Week:

How long have you been blogging? I have MANY blogs.  I have had my coupon blog for almost a year. Some of my others, 4-6 years.

What inspired you to start blogging? I’ve always been a tech junkie and started using social networking before my family & friends even knew how to use e-mail. I had no choice but to reach out to others like myself just to be understood!  Now everyone is a blogger…it’s funny to me.

What is your blog about? Brought on by the “need” kept up by my natural instinct, it’s all about saving the family money. However I love the Anthropologies, Pottery Barns & everything else in the middle.  Shopping for freebies & discounts is a means to an end for me. You can read more about this as I will be featured monthly in a new E-Magazine by Noir Mommies Previewing In November 2009.

How has blogging changed your life?
Immensely!  There are SO many free things out there to be had.  So many other “mama’s” that are like me.  It’s been great to have a forum to combine the two.

What have you learned about blogging that you would like to share with others? Be unique!  Even if you offer the same topic or service, stay true to you and you will surface.  Consistency and honesty!

Name 3 blogs you love to read?  Oh easily, Chatting at the sky, The Nesting Place & The Bloggess.  They are all so quite different but yet when reading them over time…they all say the same thing, just in different ways.  I truly have too many I’m very versatile.

It is my hope that each of you will visit Daisy and give her a great big shout out courtesy of Mahogany Made.  As well, check out her favorites , you never know who’s lurking on the other side (a friend, future business partner, or even your next door neighbor).
